However, millions of Nicaraguans still lack access to safe drinking water. This lack of access to safe drinking water negatively impacts the economy, resulting in an average loss of 0.9% of the country's GDP.

HydroLOGICA was founded over 20 years ago in Nicaragua with the goal of helping communities thrive through access to clean, healthy water. Water scarcity increases the estimated annual per capita healthcare costs for communities with limited access to clean drinking water. Similarly, water scarcity makes these areas less attractive to tourists, negatively impacting growth and investment opportunities. Rural areas in our country are the most affected by water scarcity, thus diminishing opportunities for development in agricultural activities.

But it's not all bad news. HydroLOGICA is a socially responsible company with a mission to help these low-income communities. HydroLOGICA offers water well drilling services to private and cooperative clients so that, with our high-quality and innovative equipment, we can reach those communities where no one has gone before and drill wells for drinking water.
