A Message from HydroLOGICA’s Founder:

Since founding HydroLOGICA in 2017, I have believed that solving the global water crisis requires more than access to the right equipment or technology. It requires skilled people, strong local leadership, and a commitment to technical excellence that ensures water solutions are built to last.

Today, I’m excited to share a new chapter in that vision: the launch of HydroPhilanthropy, an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing safe, sustainable water through technical excellence.

While HydroPhilanthropy and HydroLOGICA are separate and independent organizations, we share a belief in the power of technical excellence to create lasting change. HydroPhilanthropy creates a new avenue for individuals and partners to invest philanthropically in the people, training, and solutions that strengthen the water sector around the world. This includes opportunities to support initiatives such as HydroLOGICA’s Apprenticeship Program, which equips water professionals with the practical skills and technical expertise they need to serve their communities with excellence.

For me, this has been a vision for some time: creating greater opportunities to invest in the people who will ultimately carry this work forward. When we invest deeply in one skilled water professional, the knowledge they gain travels with them—to every project they lead, every person they train, and every community they serve.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the HydroLOGICA journey, and I’m excited to see how HydroPhilanthropy’s work will help expand what is possible in the global effort to provide safe, sustainable water.

Building Skills - Strengthening the Water Sector.

HydroLOGICA is proud to partner with Global Water Center to expand access to high-quality technical education for water professionals around the world. More than 200 learners globally have participated in the Professional Borehole Drilling Procurement and Contract Management course, gaining practical knowledge to help them successfully plan, manage, supervise, and complete borehole drilling projects.

As part of this collaboration, HydroLOGICA sponsors the course facilitators, bringing real-world technical expertise into an accessible online learning environment.

And this is just one of a growing number of educational opportunities HydroLOGICA is developing with Global Water Center. Together, we are working to equip more water professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver safe water through technical excellence.

Strengthening Water Expertise Through Partnership

HydroLOGICA was pleased to welcome a cohort from Cross Catholic Outreach to our Apprenticeship Program in Nicaragua. Through hands-on training in water well drilling, participants strengthened their knowledge of the principles, techniques, and standards required to deliver safe, sustainable water with technical excellence.

Our partnership with Cross Catholic Outreach reflects a shared commitment to investing not only in water infrastructure, but also in the people and expertise needed to sustain it. By equipping skilled professionals to serve communities around the world, we can multiply the impact of every training—and help build lasting solutions to the global water crisis.

Together, we’re building access to safe water and the expertise to make it last.
