By 2018, Nicaragua had a total of 10,000 educational centers, both public and private, with public schools accounting for 72% of the total. Furthermore, according to 2018 figures, 42% of the population lived in rural areas, and of those, 1.6 million people lacked access to potable water. But what does this have to do with a well-drilling company ?
Studies show that water is essential for studying, since staying hydrated allows the body to send more oxygenated blood to the brain, which facilitates the work of neurons and memory.
With HydroLOGICA and our well-drilling service for schools, we ensure that Nicaraguan children have better conditions to study and thrive. Contact us to learn more about our company.
The Importance of Water Wells for Schools
It is widely known that water, and staying well hydrated, is closely related to both physical performance, keeping the body cool and active, and learning, since a hydrated brain works better.
In Nicaragua, many families in developing and impoverished areas lack direct, or even nearby, access to clean drinking water . It is common to find younger family members tasked with collecting and carrying water from the nearest sources, whenever possible, often without success due to the lack of access to those sources. This situation is not limited to homes but also occurs in schools.
Having direct access to clean drinking water from a well at schools offers both students and staff the benefit and opportunity to stay active and hydrated throughout the day, which helps improve academic performance and learning. A hydrated and refreshed body, thanks to water, is more active and healthier, better able to carry on with daily activities, in this case, schoolwork.
Hydrologica is willing to help.
Thanks to our modern equipment, we can drill wells up to 300 meters deep to achieve greater well yield, and we also drill in unconsolidated materials; the terrain is not a problem for us. Our crane is designed to install and uninstall up to 6,000 pounds of pumping pipes and pumps , providing greater access to water for Nicaraguan children more efficiently.
As a company that supports social causes, we inspect and rehabilitate wells, leaving them in better condition than before, so that children can focus solely on their studies without waiting for a new installation. Training parents also helps children. That's why we provide them with training in drilling and installation, allowing children to conserve energy for studying and stay hydrated for better concentration.
