This guide provides a practical, checklist-based framework for supervising water borehole drilling projects from start to finish. It is adapted from RWSN's Supervising Water Well Drilling: A Guide for Supervisors (2014) and is designed to help site supervisors verify that each phase of a drilling project meets technical, safety, and community engagement standards.

The guide walks through nine stages: site verification (confirming land rights, water yield, contamination risk, and community engagement), premobilization (inspecting rigs, compressors, pumps, and materials for fitness of service), mobilization, safety and equipment setup, borehole design, borehole development and site completion, demobilization, a final completion checklist, and a drilling supervisor's toolkit. Each section includes detailed yes/no checklists and notes fields, making it a hands-on reference supervisors can use directly in the field to ensure boreholes are sited, drilled, and completed safely and to standard.
