Many boreholes underperform or fail early, not because the technology is wrong, but because of problems during siting, drilling, and construction. Strong supervision is what turns a good plan into a well that lasts for decades.
This poster shows how HydroLOGICA trains the people who make that difference: NGO, charity, utility, and government teams who supervise borehole drilling and manage wells.
So far in 2026, our training has reached:
- 350 people trained
- 8 organizations trained
- 10 countries reached
Inside the poster:
- 5 Things a Trained Supervisor Catches: the common mistakes behind failed wells, from poor siting and weak sanitary seals to skipped pump and water tests, and exactly what a supervisor checks to prevent each one
- Our training model: field internships in Nicaragua, consulting overseas, and online courses with Global Water Center
- The three-month apprenticeship in Managua: hands-on supervision on live drilling sites, with classroom learning
- Community-led, locally owned water systems in Nicaragua
Whether you work for an NGO, charity, or utility, or want to build the skills yourself, we can come to you, train you online, or welcome you to Nicaragua.
