Imagine this: 140 people. One water spring. No well. No river. No pipes.

Every single day, families in La Guaruma, Nicaragua walk down a ravine to fill three jugs of water. That's all there is, three jugs per family, then they wait for the spring to recover. No exceptions. No alternatives.

Farmer Noel González has stopped planting his crops. "I'm not farming right now, for lack of water and rain," he says. Hours that should go to work, school, and rest instead disappear into the rhythm of hauling water uphill.

Laundry takes planning. Farming takes sacrifice. Life revolves around a single point of water.
