The Challenge

Before this project, the community connected to Pozo Armenia #2 lacked reliable and sufficient access to safe water. Like many rural communities in the León region of Nicaragua, residents faced ongoing uncertainty about whether an adequate water source even existed nearby — and if it did, whether it could be developed safely and sustainably.

The partner NGO on this project needed more than a drilling crew. They needed a team that could confirm the groundwater was there before committing resources, then deliver a well built to hold up over the long term.

Our Approach

HydroLOGICA began with a feasibility study and planning phase to assess the site's groundwater potential before any drilling equipment arrived. This step is core to how we work with NGO partners: it protects donor-funded budgets by confirming a project is viable before committing to full-scale drilling.

Once the site was confirmed, our team moved into full water well drilling, managing the project from initial groundwater development through to a fully operational well.

The Results

• 46 gallons per minute of clean water output
• A completed, fully operational community water well
• A feasibility-first process that reduced risk for the partner NGO's investment
